Description The Atrium Optima Shopping Centre (originally named only OPTIMA) was opened in May 2002. During its ten years of existence not only has it fallen in favour with people living in Košice, but also with those commuting to the city from afar. The interest of regional shop keepers in starting their businesses in the centre alongside the large attendance of customers at the shopping centre proves its popularity. Atrium Optima, the shopping centre located on the outskirts of Košice, offers its visitors more than 150 brand name shops selling goods from both domestic and foreign manufacturers. In addition, there is CINEMAX (a multiplex cinema with seven projection rooms), a fitness and wellness centre, cafés and restaurants, children’s corners and other services including a large car park with 1,600 parking places, but, first and foremost, Atrium Optima provides a very pleasant atmosphere.
